Following that philosophy, 10East Corp. owns and operates the primary data center where our software services reside, and it is physically located in the offices where our software and systems engineers report to work each day. That approach places all of the processes and responsibilities, for systems security, availability, and backups, squarely within 10East's purview. 10East's primary data center is located in Jacksonville, Florida. 10East also leases space, and maintains near-real-time mirroring computer servers, in a secondary data center, which allows for rapid systems recovery in case of a catastrophe. Both data centers are hardened by 24/7 security and fire protection. The security systems encompass both physical and electronic security of the premises, hardware, data, and connections to the outside world.

Both data facilities are backed by generator power and robust UPS systems, and are served by multi-path, high-speed, fiber data circuits, with Internet service from multiple tier-one Internet back-bone providers. Our facilities provide limited and supervised access to authorized individuals, and only on an as needed basis. Inert gas fire protection protects both data centers. Redundant firewall systems provide the latest in electronic security, logging transactions and notifying administrative personnel 24/7 of alert level conditions.

10East utilizes the latest in highly available, fully redundant, scaleable equipment running proven operating systems supported by RAID disk subsystems, onsite rolling data backups to near-line storage, and on and off site data and system backups to tapes. All computing and networking infrastructure is monitored and maintained 24/7.
